Nebraska Division of Behavioral Health

  • Nebraska's Behavioral Health Division plans, funds, and oversees a statewide system for public mental health and substance use services. This office plan organizes, coordinates, and budgets for a statewide system of care for individuals and families that need public mental health and substance use disorder services.

  • Nebraska is divided into six Regions that partner with the state to administer mental health and substance use services. Each Region represents and responds to local needs by coordinating with county commissioners, providers, and the community to deliver essential services across the state.
