Our youth are our future’s greatest asset. Schools, parents, caregivers and communities all play a role in providing supportive pathways for our youth as they navigate childhood and adolescence. SCIP (School Community Intervention and Prevention) is partnering with Lincoln Public Schools, Bryan Independence Center and the Lancaster Prevention Coalition to put on a series of valuable presentations about how to support the health and well-being of our community’s youth. The below event is open to parents, educators and community members. The content of this presentation is intended for adult audiences and is not suitable for youth.

Presenter: Officer Jermaine Galloway
Officer Galloway created his own alcohol and substance abuse prevention and identification program called the “You Can’t Stop What You Don’t KnowTM” program. This presentation will cover a variety of youth alcohol and drug trends and provide current information on how to better identify youth drug concerns and the role of knowledge in youth substance use prevention.

Deputy Jeremy Schwarz, local Drug Recognition Expert and Criminal Investigator, will be available to answer questions about Nebraska laws and youth trends.
